Yan Lin is the chief instructor of the sniper training team. He has two outstanding students-Han Guang and Cai Xiaochun. They are brothers who share weal and woe and rivals in the competition. They also fall in love with military doctor Zhao Baihe. During an operation, Cai Xiaochun was expelled from the army for violating military discipline. Zhao Baihe left the army with him. Later, it was heard that he went abroad and became a mercenary. Five years later, Han Guang, already a meritorious sniper, transferred to Binhai. His special sniper rifle was mysteriously stolen, and Zhao Baihe was hunted by this gun. Han Guang became a wanted murder suspect.
