Tales of Sanxingdui

Late one night at the Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan, Sichuan, a security guard was making his rounds when he suddenly noticed the bronze sacred tree, protected beneath a glass case, shining with dazzling light. He was so shocked he could barely speak, and the sight left him unsettled for a long time. When his shift ended, he couldn’t resist mentioning it to Xiao Wang, who was taking over. “What’s the big deal?” Xiao Wang said. “Don’t let it scare you, you scaredy-cat! I even heard voices coming from inside!” “Aren’t you afraid? What if it’s haunted?” I asked. Xiao Wang calmly replied, “Brother Li, don’t worry. What era do you think we’re living in? There’s no such thing as ghosts. We’ve done nothing wrong, so we’ve got nothing to fear. It’ll be fine.”… But later, I discovered that this place was actually a gateway to outer space. Later, Xiao Wang and I both disappeared. We journeyed into the depths of the universe and returned to those unknown ancient times.
