Lin Mocun, commander of a reconnaissance company of a special operations brigade, was seriously injured while protecting his comrades during a border anti-terrorism operation and retired, leaving his right leg permanently disabled. On the day he left the army, he sat quietly in the empty barracks all night, thinking that the most glorious chapter in his life had been turned over.
In the early morning of the next day, a cold mechanical voice sounded in my mind:
"The time and space supply system has been bound"
"Host's physical condition detected: disabled"
"Host's mental strength detected: S level"
"The activation conditions are met——"
"You can go back, when they need you most."
Lin Mocun opened his eyes, and in front of him was the Taihang Mountains in 1938.
Heavy snow has sealed the mountains, and a ragged Eighth Route Army detachment is being chased by the Japanese army. They had been without food for three days and had only the last bullet left in their guns. Lin Mocun looked down at the modern compressed biscuits in his hand, looked at the Japanese troops chasing him not far away, remained silent for three seconds, turned around and disappeared into the rift in time and space.
Three days later, the team, which was about to be destroyed, discovered a "mysterious supply point" on the edge of despair: 500 kilograms of white flour, 200 penicillin, 30 medium-grade rifles - and a note with only three words on it:
"Keep walking."
Since then, there has been a "ghost supply man" on the battlefield of the Anti-Japanese War. No one knows where he comes from, no one knows who he is. Only at the most critical moments, supplies will appear out of thin air: cotton-padded clothes in the cold winter, anesthesia on the operating table, and a whole truck of ammunition when ammunition is exhausted.
And Lin Mocun walks between two eras——
