My name is Ma Chengqian. I was born to an ordinary family in the countryside of Yan and Zhao.
As a boy, I met my master and learned from him the skills to make my way in the world and practice the Way. I kept them hidden in the bustle of everyday life, witnessing the sinister supernatural happenings and the warmth and coldness of human nature among ordinary people.
From an innocent child to someone who could stand on his own, I never flaunted my abilities. I simply stayed true to myself and protected the peace of those around me.
Later, I left my hometown with my master and entered a wider world. I traveled and protected others along the way, keeping the stories of my years on the path to practicing the Way hidden between these lines.
