Chen Mo, the toughest hardcore player on the server, gets electrocuted while taking on the final boss.
When he wakes up, he finds himself transformed into the final boss hunted by the entire server: the "Core of Nothingness."
The bad news: This boss is a "living target" nailed to the spot. It has tons of health and sky-high defense, but can barely move.
The worse news: The top guild on the server has already gathered at the entrance, ready to claim the first kill.
With a warrior's blade right in his face, Chen Mo awakens the [Omniscient Sight] and [Environment Reconstruction] in his desperation.
The warrior leaps in to charge? Tear up the floor!
The mage starts chanting? Change gravity!
The assassin sneaks in for an ambush? Reveal the whole map!
And so, the supposedly "free loot boss" becomes every player's worst nightmare.
The forums are filled with anguished posts: "There's definitely a real person controlling this boss! He exploits bugs in the physics engine! He can even see what I'm doing on my keyboard!"
Chen Mo calmly lights a cigarette (though he doesn't have hands): "That's called game mechanics. If you're bad, practice more."
When the System labels him a "supervirus" and tries to format the world, Chen Mo finally drops his disguise.
He posts an announcement to the entire server: "If you want to keep your accounts, take out that GM who keeps handing out bans!"
In this battle, he's no longer the boss guarding the final stage. He's the world's one and only firewall.
