My Father Is the Prince of the North, but the System Wants Me to Become a Rebel?

I, Xiao Beiwang, heir to the Prince of Zhenbei, have been sent to the capital as a hostage. All I want is to keep my head down and survive.

But the System forces me to court death: slap the chancellor's youngest son, or recite an obscene poem in public!

I turn around and slap Xie Qingrang so hard he freezes. “Sorry, my father is the Prince of Zhenbei!”

I call the chancellor disloyal and unfilial, use a prince's gold to buy a chamber pot, and trim my nails with a treasured saber...

The court is full of officials shouting for my death, but the emperor just laughs. “This kid's got some spark.”

System: [Keep courting death to earn Dragon-Reversal Points and unlock the shop!]

Me: I'm really being forced into this!

Then one day, I discover that a certain prince has colluded with the demonic cult and wants to use the Beiming army to overthrow the Dayin dynasty...

Sorry, I may court death, but if you want to harm my Dayin, you'll have to get past my father's 300,000-strong Zhenbei army first!
