One Sword Overawes the Nine Heavens

Ning Yu, a small-town boy with an innocent heart, accidentally saves a spirit fox and obtains the Profound Heaven Art, setting foot on the path to immortality.

After joining the Tianxuan Sect, he is ostracized because of his humble origins. Only his senior sister, Lin Yue, offers him warmth and guidance, and their feelings for each other gradually grow.

When a war between immortals and demons erupts, Ning Yu is gravely injured while protecting Lin Yue and falls into an ancient ruin, where he unexpectedly awakens the ancient immortal bloodline sealed within him.

Just as the mystery of his origins is revealed, the demon army closes in. Bearing the power of ancient times in a mortal body, the young man faces a demon general alone.

As flames engulf the sky, he leads an elite force in a surprise attack on the demon lair. Attacking from within and without alongside Lin Yue, he slays the demon leader with blood and unyielding determination.

When he returns, he takes his beloved’s hand and rebuilds their homeland, becoming its protector and writing an everlasting legend in an Eastern xianxia world.
