From the Start, a Silent Bookshop

[Inspired by Cultist Simulator / Book of Hours (Noon-world setting) + Otherworld + Multiple Heroines]

In his previous life, Exel died by his father's blade. In this one, he became the administrator of the Silent Bookshop as a Second-Born.

Exel already knew the Silent Bookshop's reputation, and that the Second-Born had to endure the Hours' gaze. But why couldn't he feel their presence? What sort of divine being was watching him and keeping him from leaving the bookshop? Where had the Colonel sent him?

When Exel opens the doors of the Silent Bookshop, the sight before him makes his eyes light up. Since he's grown tired of a life in exile, and now has a “Great Enemy” eager to oppose him, what he should do next is obvious.

Let's make a real go of it, dear little E.
