When the protagonist Hao Jian transmigrates, he merges with the unconscious, depleted source of the Heavenly Dao and becomes the new Heavenly Dao. The source remains dormant, passively activating the laws of the Heavenly Dao only when Hao Jian’s emotions cross a certain threshold. Hao Jian never realizes what’s happening, instead attributing it to “coincidence,” “luck,” or “the other guy being too weak.”
And so he sets off on a path of showing off without even knowing it.
