Transmigrated as the Vicious Ex-Wife Who Abandoned the Powerful Minister’s Hero and His Child

After transmigrating into a book, Gu Yuzhu finds herself as the male lead's first wife in a male-oriented novel about a father raising his children, the woman who abandoned her husband and children.

In the original story, the male lead married his first wife when he was still poor, and she gave birth to triplets.

Unfortunately, she was terribly short-sighted. She looked down on his lowly status as a scholar and refused to build a life with him.

After he broke his leg on the road to the imperial exams and missed the test, she despised him even more.

She saw their three children as a burden, beating and berating them while carrying on with other men. In the end, she simply ran off with one of them.

That would have been bad enough, but after her lover abandoned her, she came crawling back when the male lead had made a name for himself.

He already hated her, even loathed her, and he had fallen in love with someone else. How could he ever take her back?

But his ex-wife failed to recognize her place. She even threatened him with the children and got in the way of his relationship with the heroine. So he pretended to accept her, locked her up in his residence, and did everything he could to torment her.

She was left unable to live or die, and eventually became a human stump, dying in agony.

Gu Yuzhu transmigrates just as the original is about to run away with another man, when the male lead's hatred for her is at its fiercest.

Gu Yuzhu: What a vicious transmigration!

With no other options, Gu Yuzhu doesn't want to end up a human stump, and she certainly doesn't want to run off with an ugly man.

She likes children, so she decides to raise them and help treat the male lead, while planning to ask him for custody once he becomes a powerful minister and meets the heroine.

But the man angrily drags her back.

“Are the children all you care about?”
