Chen Mo stared at the radio station. This is his only chance, slimmer than finding the rescue team in the apocalypse, but also more ambitious. If you can really connect with the past, if you can change the past...
He rummaged through the original owner's belongings. Several radio journals, several handwritten observation records, and a leather-bound notebook. Chen Mo opened the notebook. The first few pages contained complex astronomical observation data and circuit diagrams, but when he turned to the back, the handwriting became scrawled:
"On the 7th day, the concentration of sulfur compounds in the air increased again, and the cough was bloody..."
"On the 12th day, I saw fire in the north, which was suspected to be a survivor camp, but there was no response from the signal bomb..."
"On the 18th day, the temperature was abnormal, with the daytime maximum exceeding 50 degrees, and the water evaporated at an alarming rate..."
"On the 22nd day, I tried to contact the military frequency band and received an automatic broadcast: National emergency, each military region has established shelter points, but the coordinates are fuzzy and the distance is too far..."
"Day 31... Food has bottomed out."
There are only two words on the last page of the notebook, written in weak handwriting: "persistence".
Chen Mo closed the book. This is evidence, but it is not evidence for 2023. They want verifiable, "future" information.
