Journey to the West: I Don’t Eat Vegetarian, So I Turn Around and Blast Mount Ling Apart

I transmigrated into Journey to the West and became Tang Sanzang, bound to the [Fate-Defying System].

When we fought the White Bone Spirit three times, I chose to praise Wukong. My cultivation shot straight to the Mahayana Realm, and the seal on my past life as the Golden Cicada began to loosen.

The Four Sages tested our resolve again? I turned around and married Guanyin’s avatar, earning [Mighty Heavenly Dragon] as a reward. My cultivation soared to the Earth Immortal Realm, and, as a side effect… it seems I caused the Bodhisattva’s body a bit of “trouble.”

At Wuzhuang Temple, I plucked every Ginseng Fruit and kicked over the innate spiritual root. In return, I received the [Nine-Ringed Golden Staff], immune to all magic, and a [Chaos Green Lotus Seed] that could create a new spiritual root. Ancestor of Earth Immortals Zhen Yuanzi flew into a rage and attacked? If I can’t beat him, I’ll call for backup. Patriarch Bodhi is standing behind me!

Why has Guanyin Bodhisattva been retching so often lately? Why do the Buddhas of Lingshan look so grave? Why has the journey-to-the-West script fallen to pieces?

“Amitabha Buddha.” I held the Nine-Ringed Golden Staff and gazed toward Lingshan, smiling gently.

“In the past, this humble monk had no choice. But now… I only want to ask.”

“Can I be the one to write this scripture?”

“Can I be the one to tear down this mountain?”

“Can I be the one to save all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens?”

Journeying to fetch the scriptures? No, this is just the prerequisite quest for storming Lingshan.
