Reporting, Commander: Your Son Really Can’t Keep a Low Profile

[About the Book]

[Special Forces + Scheming + Comedy + Easygoing] Also known as: Helping Dad Get Used to Retirement Early

On his first day in the army, Shao Ye runs into his dad giving a speech. He grins and salutes. “Hello, sir! Coming home for dinner tonight?”

Later, he wipes out his dad’s entire unit during an exercise, then thoughtfully offers him a self-heating meal. “Dad, you need a full stomach to lose properly.”

Later still, his dad gets promoted. When he sees the new deputy brigade commander, he freezes. “Son, are you serious?”

Shao Ye pulls out a recording. “Dad, you once said that if I ever outranked you, I could call you Dad. I kept that clip.”
