Main title: I Was a Stubborn Stone in the Wasteland, Struck by a Celestial Goddess from the Start
Subtitle: The Tale of Shi Yu: The Six Realms’ Calamity
I was a stubborn stone in the Wasteland, asleep for billions of years,
without awareness or sensation, without sorrow or joy.
Then, one day,
the goddess who mended Heaven fell from the celestial realm,
and her spirit blood struck me.
Using a jade soul as a guide, spirit blood as a medium, and the essence of Heaven-repairing as its power,
she gently awakened me from chaos.
The Six Realms teetered on the brink of collapse, the heavens were about to split,
the celestial realm had abandoned her, and all living beings awaited salvation.
And I,
an unremarkable stone from the Wasteland,
became her only support,
and the last hope of the Six Realms.
From then on, stone gave birth to spirit, and jade gained a soul.
A stubborn stone and a spirit set out together to face Heaven’s calamity.
As the Six Realms crumble, I shall stand firm as bedrock!
The Tale of Shi Yu: The Six Realms’ Calamity recounts the causes behind the rise and fall of the Six Realms, records lessons on the gains and losses of the human realm, relates the warnings found in the downfall of demons and ghosts, clarifies how to judge right and wrong, and explains the principles of fortune and misfortune. It is not written to show off its prose or make a name for its author. It is only my hope that the calamity of the Six Realms may serve as a mirror, warning people of this age not to repeat past mistakes, and reminding future generations to hold fast to their original hearts. May they understand the Great Way and cherish the gifts of Heaven and Earth; cast aside selfish distractions and unite their inner and outer strengths; protect the peace of the human realm and prevent the Six Realms from suffering another calamity, so that they may not fail the grace of Heaven and Earth that gave them life, nor the wisdom passed down by their ancestors.
