Lin Chen, a young man from the modern world, transmigrates to the dangerous world of Hunter x Hunter and finds himself from the start in the cruel, hopeless streets of Meteor City, on the verge of starving to death.
At the brink of death, he unexpectedly binds himself to the Soul Reaper System and gains the powers of the Soul Reaper: Kido, Shunpo, hand-to-hand combat, spiritual power, Zanpakuto, and more...
In a world ruled by Nen Ability, terrorized by the Phantom Troupe, and dominated by families of assassins, Lin Chen makes a spectacular entrance with the power of a Soul Reaper.
Starting as an orphan in Meteor City, he gradually awakens his Nen Ability, crushes his enemies, crosses paths with the Phantom Troupe, and meets powerful figures from every walk of life.
He defeats enemies with Kido, closes in on them with Shunpo, and protects himself with spiritual power. He rises to prominence through classic story arcs such as the Hunter Exam, Heavens Arena, and the Yorknew City auction, forging a path to the pinnacle that belongs to the Soul Reaper alone.
On one side are the brutal laws of the Hunter world; on the other, the ever-growing power of the Soul Reaper.
See how Lin Chen, an ordinary human wielding the authority of a Soul Reaper, conquers the world of Hunter x Hunter!
