The story begins in 1958 and ends in 2023. Set in the southeast coastal fishing village "Xianshui Town" as the background, it revolves around the fate of four generations of women, the "Haifeng Women", great-grandmother A Teng, grandmother Ju Hua, mother Haiyan, and daughter Duo Duo.
