My Neighbor Says I Hit His Old Man, but I'm Color-Blind and Can't Drive

At three in the morning, my neighbor Li Qiang brought a bunch of people to smash down my front door, claiming I had fled the scene of an accident.

The man leading them grabbed me by the collar and yelled, "It was you! I even memorized your license plate number. You hit my dad and ran off. You even went through a red light. Are you even human?"

"Let me tell you, my dad is lying unconscious in the ICU right now! You're fully responsible!"

He shoved his phone in my face, showing a picture of a car speeding through an intersection.

His wife stood beside him, holding their child and wailing.

Still groggy from sleep, I hadn't even figured out what was going on. "What does this have to do with me?"

The people around us joined in, pointing and whispering. "He hit someone and can still sleep? That's terrifying!"

"How can we have a murderer like that living in our building?"

Hit someone? I'm red-green colorblind. I can't even drive!
