The play revolves around the contract marriage between Tang Xinxin, a money-obsessed girl, and Lu Yinshen, a second-generation rich man. In order to obtain information about her grandfather, Tang Xinxin agreed to a two-year contracted marriage. After the marriage, the two went from being mutually exclusive to becoming emotionally involved. Lu Yinshen finally discovered that Tang Xinxin was his lifesaver when he was a child. After going through twists and turns, he confirmed his feelings for each other and moved towards a happy ending together.
