The Three Kingdoms era is used as the background to construct the world of assassins in the three kingdoms of Wei, Shu and Wu. The three assassin organizations are directly subordinate to the supreme rulers of each country. By cleverly assassinating high-level officials of enemy countries and pretending to be natural deaths or battle losses, they have made great contributions to their respective countries in the dark side of history.
