Nine years ago, I quit my job to trade full-time. Three years later, after my account had been cut in half again and again, I read the word “reverence” for the first time while staring at my settlement statement in the dead of night.
This isn’t a trading guru’s memoir. It’s the daily homework of someone still making a living in the market, written for himself. The pounding heart before the market opens, the panic during the opening auction, the self-doubt while holding positions, the endless replaying of events after the close: behind every trade is a concrete choice. Get in or get out? Hold or chase? Trust the logic or give in to emotion?
I record how my ideas take shape, and how they fall apart. I track changes in how my positions are distributed, and, more than that, the tug-of-war behind them between “being afraid of losing too much” and “being afraid of earning too little.” There’s no brilliant hindsight, only the person I was in that moment, hovering over the keyboard and unsure whether I was right or wrong.
Nine years have passed, and I still sell too early, hesitate, and refresh overseas market updates late at night. But I’ve learned to write it all down, not to sum up the rules, but to see myself clearly.
If you’re also searching for a rhythm in the candlestick charts and trying to recognize yourself in your gains and losses, these diaries may help you feel a little less alone.
The market is always changing. But keeping a record is, in itself, a way to stay anchored.
For new readers, this is not a fun book, it is very dry. I suggest you start with my most recent chapter, and then decide whether to go back and read it again if you have time! If you think my writing is good, please give me a good review!
A true portrayal. It can be used as a rule and is worth learning. Thank you, Wang. Great God. Starting from the second reading, it will help me learn and grow. Thank you, God.
Thanks to experience, I came here. The experience of veteran investors is too valuable.
It's very nice and helpful. The master showed me in. Practice in the individual.
The inner activities are very well written.
So well written. Come on!
I feel something after hearing this. Thank you to the author for your hard work.
Great book! Worth a look!
There is no exaggerated plot in other novels, it is a pure stock market information book.
