Aotu World: The Divine Lady Doesn't Want to Be the Savior

Apologies for any out-of-character moments. Chu Zhao has a subtle romance storyline, and her relationships with other characters include familial and platonic bonds. If any of that bothers you, please take note.

Chu Zhao finds the “poor little thing” Camille in the Dump, never expecting that it would bring the menace Lei Shi into her life. Their bond grows out of fighting, then two years together bring warmth. She thinks their connection will last a lifetime, but she cuts it off herself to search for her best friend, Ji He.

“Once I find Ji He, I’ll come back for you.”

She broke her promise.

At the Aotu Tournament, she and Lei Shi join forces once more, but at the most crucial moment, she uses a lie to push him into a desperate situation.

Two equally strong people turn against each other. Yesterday’s salvation becomes today’s blade.
