The doomsday is not about the spread of viruses or meteorite impacts, but a sudden "erosion gray fog" - gray fog covers the world, can distort the rules of physics, swallow human consciousness, and creatures/items that have been corroded by the gray fog for a long time will undergo "distortion" (not zombies, but surreal hybrids, such as the "bone china moth" that combines bone china with moths, and the "rusty iron dog" that combines steel bars with dogs). There are "corrosion nodes" hidden in the gray fog. Each node corresponds to a piece of erased human memory.
