[Two male protagonists + physical abuse + emotional abuse + reunion + happy ending]
If you were to ask what Pei Huaizhao regretted most in his life, it was probably not ruthlessly killing Jiang Ziqing when he betrayed him for the first time.
Pei Huaizhao kept telling himself not to trust him, but when he saw Jiang Ziqing protecting him time and time again, even giving his life in exchange, just to protect his own safety, he indulged his heart again.
However, the sincerity he professed was completely trampled on. This time, Pei Huaizhao was no longer soft-hearted. He personally destroyed Jiang Ziqing's martial arts skills and imprisoned him in a dark room, where he was tortured every day.
"Does it hurt?"
"Jiang Ziqing, the pain in your body is not even a ten thousandth of the pain in my heart."
At the ceremony of sealing the queen, Pei Huaizhao realized that Jiang Ziqing really loved him when he inserted a dagger into his chest and dug out the elixir warmed by his own heart blood to detoxify the poison in Pei Huaizhao's body.
However, everything seems to be too late.
Attack: Pei Huaizhao
Accepted by: Jiang Ziqing
(Shou has always been firmly in love with Gong, and the so-called betrayal also has its own reasons. In the scene where Gong tortures Shou, he misunderstands that he has been betrayed, so he deeply hates it because of love)

The love between the two protagonists started out as a love affair. The second volume started five years ago. There is one thing that happened in the past, and it was broken in Chapter 16. But I have a question. Is this reunion plot a misunderstanding about the reunion or death and resurrection of the story five years ago? I think Shou might be resurrected later, because someone seemed to have put something in there and then took Shou away (forgive me for forgetting what it was called on one page per second). Can the author give an answer after seeing this (first time posting a long comment)
