Adventures in the Mountains and Rivers

An utterly ordinary prayer visit to Jizu Mountain led Lu Chuan to stumble upon an earth-shattering secret the world had forgotten for a thousand years. Amid the drifting incense, he accidentally fell into a sealed secret realm and awakened the mountain spirit guarding the spiritual veins of the Nine Provinces. No one knew that this seemingly accidental encounter had long since sealed his fate. The power to fuse the Three Qi and the spiritual veins awakened within him. He became the last hope for protecting the spiritual veins, and a target for every faction seeking to hunt him down.

To find a way out and survive, Lu Chuan swore brotherhood unto death with the iron-willed Xiong Bei, the keeper of ancient Miao secrets, and Xiong Lao'er, a man blessed by Heaven's fate. Together, they braved the curses and resentments of the ancient Cangshan stockade, battled strange beasts beneath Mount Ailao, explored the Gate of Ten Thousand Gods in Kunlun, and unraveled the mists of the East China Sea. They faced death at every turn.

The foreign Huan Yu Group and the evil cultivator Bogahu laid a cataclysmic plot: to destroy Yunnan's ancient mountain formation, sever the spiritual veins of the Nine Provinces, and seize the source of Heaven and Earth. From the terrifying night at Jizu Mountain, to the deadly ambush in the shadow of Bangkok's Reclining Buddha, and finally the ultimate battle at the sealed formation on Mount Ling, the four brothers risked their lives.

As the truth about the spiritual veins gradually came to light, they realized that this battle to protect them had long since put the fate of the entire world at stake.
