Siheyuan: I Found Myself a Nun for a Bride

Xu Weiguo lost both his parents young and grew up cold and hard. In the courtyard compound, he was ostracized and branded a troublemaker by everyone. Just then, Miaozhen, an orphan from the Jingxin Convent, left the nunnery to marry. She required no dowry and only needed household registration, so every bachelor in the compound had his eye on this “prize.” They expected to see Xu Weiguo make a fool of himself, but instead he brought the former nun home as his bride. When their scheming, spiteful neighbors gossiped and made things difficult for them, Xu became fiercely protective of his wife. Anyone who dared bully Miaozhen would have to face him. Two people who had suffered through hard lives found comfort in each other, and amid the chaos of their courtyard compound, turned their difficult days into a peaceful life together.
