"Dad's Song" focuses on the growth of single-parent auto mechanic A Tao and his daughter Ke'er. After the death of his wife, A Tao uses singing to heal his longing and sets an example for his daughter with every act of kindness. With the loving protection of his grandparents and the warm company of his neighbor Lin Muwan, he goes from being able to endure the embarrassment of life alone to reaping happiness and making love and kindness a family tradition. The whole play follows Kerr's life trajectory from 4 to 28 years old, outlines the warmth of the world, and interprets the inheritance of father's love and goodwill.
