Lin Ran, a senior high school student, was originally guaranteed to be recommended, but was replaced due to unfair practices. She dropped out of school angrily and transferred to the Provincial Experimental Middle School. In the fair environment of the new school, she won the first place in her grade many times by virtue of her strength. She passed the independent enrollment of Tsinghua University and was finally admitted to Tsinghua University with the second place in science in the province. She used her experience to prove that fair soil can make hard work shine and let people see the power of educational equity.
