Sin City: Print Shop by Day, Black-Market Apothecary by Night

[Revenge + not a brainless power fantasy + single heroine + mind games + ruthless action + plot-driven + no System]

Night Owl

Some say he’s a vengeful demon who crawled out of an asylum.

Some say he’s the Grim Reaper, bringing justice in the name of heaven.

Some say he specializes in killing corrupt cops and punishing monsters.

Some say he only appears in the dead of night, leaving no trace, just corpse after corpse marked by terror.

Sin City, a den of vice where officials and merchants collude and gangs rule the streets.

I, Wei An, am a print shop owner on the surface and a pharmacist supplying the gangs behind the scenes.

I only wanted a quiet life, but the woman I trusted most and the shadowy power pulling all the strings teamed up to throw me into Blackstone Psychiatric Hospital, a hell where the living go in and the dead come out!

They thought I’d go mad, die, or become a pile of bones rotting in some corner.

They didn’t know that the deepest part of the asylum wasn’t for lunatics at all.

It held a criminal mastermind who taught me to solve puzzles and devise plans, a shadowy assassin who taught me the art of killing, and a battle-crazed maniac who honed my fighting instincts.

After I “graduated,” I crawled out of hell and back into the world of the living.

Reborn from the ground up, I took the codename Night Owl.

“Everyone who pushed me into the abyss, I’ll personally send you to hell.”

From tonight on, a ghost seeking lives will haunt the shadows of Sin City.

The hunt has begun in silence.
