A group of lower-class women whose feet were bound since childhood broke free from the shackles of feudalism and embarked on a long march of thousands of miles. With pairs of deformed little feet, they climbed over icy snow-capped mountains and walked through desperate grasslands, supporting each other and never leaving each other in the face of hunger, cold and death.
From hometown to northern Shaanxi, from brokenness to formation, from darkness to rays of light. They have no shocking abilities, but rely on their unyieldingness and friendship to write a blood-and-fire epic that belongs to Chinese women and never bows their heads.
Broken lotuses can also be made, and the glimmer of light will eventually shine through the ages.
