Synopsis

What if you discovered that the old immortal enshrined in your family hall had died long ago...

Or that a thousand-year-old ghost was trying to outlast your entire family...

Would you go with the flow and cling to life, or fight your fate with everything you've got?

My name is Zhang An. An means peace.

I only wanted to live a quiet life, but supernatural troubles and calamities kept hounding me. With no other choice, I took up the ancestral sheepskin drum and became a shamanic medium, earning my living between the worlds of yin and yang.

Born with an ordinary body and half a life belonging to the underworld, I have no say in my fate. All I can do is use my drum to keep yin and yang in check.

Northeastern folk customs and supernatural horrors, no System, no cultivation to immortality, just the authentic flavor of China's northeast.
