The Empress Has Invented More Black Technology Again

Core Premise

One-line pitch: I use nine years of compulsory education to build infrastructure in the imperial palace.

Character Profiles:

Heroine, Su Wanwan: A modern doctoral graduate in science and engineering, she transmigrates after dying from overwork and becomes a deposed empress. She’s a “walking encyclopedia,” with knowledge of everything from astronomy to geography, but she’s put all her points into intelligence and none into emotional intelligence. Her catchphrase is: “When in doubt, use quantum mechanics. But Newtonian mechanics is good enough here!”

Hero, Xuanyuan Zhan: The “emperor who comes around.” He ascended the throne as a youth and is ambitious and brilliant, but his ministers are always “educating” him. Once he discovers that the deposed empress has some real talent, his attitude changes from “Absurd!” to “Let me have a look too.” In the end, he becomes her strongest supporter and chief investor.

Progression: The story follows a clear path from palace intrigue to changing the world:

Early stage, Inner Palace Arc: Use science to establish a foothold in the palace and face-slap the consorts.

Middle stage, Imperial Court Arc: Spread technology and solve the dynasty’s problems, winning the people’s support.

Late stage, Realm Arc: Kick off the Industrial Revolution and reach for the stars.
