She plays dumb, he plays sweet. A sugary romance where they dote on each other, each happily giving as good as they get.
The heroine, Xie Yiyi, is a modern master of traditional Chinese medicine and a shameless money lover who charges exorbitant fees. After attracting the attention of ill-intentioned people, she is framed and accidentally falls into the water, only to transmigrate to ancient times and become Xie Yiyi, the only daughter of the Grand Tutor: a fool who became that way after falling into the water at the age of eight. Over the years, she squandered money chasing the second male lead, Su Beicheng, leaving her adoptive father deeply in debt, while he despised her. During one pursuit, she accidentally fell into the water again, and when Su Beicheng refused to save her, the modern heroine transmigrated into Xie Yiyi's body and survived.
The hero, Shen Yu, is the legitimate son of the richest man in the land and a business genius, but his stepmother has been harming him since childhood. His legs are disabled, and he has been treated with cold indifference. Once the heroine comes to her senses, she accepts her childhood engagement to him and makes plans of her own. On one hand, she marries him and keeps up her foolish act to swindle money and other perks from him. On the other, she uses that money to secretly buy a medicine shop, becomes a mysterious miracle doctor, and treats him under that identity, all while making even more money.
And so, under their double identities, one plays dumb and the other plays sweet as they act out a scheming, hilarious, and utterly sweet romance.
