When there’s nowhere higher to go, you become the supreme top-tier star!

Xiao Yunqi, an amateur designer from Shancheng, signs up for the talent show The Purple Star Descends from Heaven to fulfill his dream of making music, setting out on the road to becoming a supreme top-tier star in Chinese entertainment!

Entering the entertainment industry with no experience, he doesn’t back down for a second. From placing dead last in his first performance to making a spectacular comeback, rising to fame and debuting in a group, he proves everyone wrong with his sheer ability. Then the fantasy drama The Grudges of the Ghostly Path makes him a household name across Chinese entertainment, and he becomes a top-tier star overnight.

At the height of his success, though, he gets caught up in the “773 Incident.” The entire internet turns against him, and people even demand that he leave the entertainment industry. After a year out of the spotlight, he makes his comeback at the Starlight Gala hosted by E-Chang. His fans’ 18-second sea of red support brings the house down. After that, one hit work follows another. Leading directors line up to offer him roles, and he goes on to win major mainstream awards.

After weathering the ups and downs of the entertainment industry, he rises from amateur designer to Chinese entertainment’s top-tier star. He reaches the pinnacle of television and film, music, variety shows, endorsements, and awards, becoming without question the supreme top-tier star of Chinese entertainment!
