Clear Snow in a Sunny Place

A mix-up over saving a seat in the library brings Liu Qingxue, a reserved artist, face-to-face with Liu Hengtong, a quiet and gentle top student.

Her drawings conceal a loneliness no one knows about, while his eyes hold an unspoken affection.

When a determined suitor keeps pressing her, she panics and asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend. It was only meant to be a temporary fix, but after spending day after day together, the act becomes real.

A kiss almost shared backstage on New Year's Eve, a steadfast promise beneath the stars: He is the light that helps her face the shadows of her troubled family, and she is the one exception in his ordinary life.

From pretending to date to truly giving their hearts to each other, from shy campus romance to standing side by side at work, they weather tentative flirtations, rumors, time zones between countries, and the tests of reality.

He protects her dream of becoming an artist, and she gives him a place to weather every storm. With friends by their side and their love growing stronger, all the beauty of youth shines in each other's eyes.

Someone once asked, “What does the best kind of love look like?”

It looks like Liu Qingxue meeting Liu Hengtong:

You keep me worry-free through every year, and I'll walk with you toward the light, step by step. Beyond the snow and wind, there is warmth at last.
