After I Transmigrated, I Mistook Myself for the City Lord

I opened my eyes and found myself transmigrated to another world.

I fell from the sky and landed right in the middle of the city lord's hall.

At the time, the old city lord of Linzhou City had gone missing.

The whole city was arguing. Nobody wanted to take over as city lord of a place so poor it was on the verge of starving.

When they saw her appear out of nowhere,

their eyes lit up.

"A divine being sent from heaven! You're the one!"

Before she could even say, "I'm not..."

they had already pressed her onto the city lord's throne.

Later, Lin Xiaoman sat on the imperial dragon throne, completely dumbfounded.

All she'd wanted was a quiet life as an unassuming city lord.

How had things ended with her subjects kneeling and shouting, "Long live the empress!"?

How had they shoved her all the way onto the throne as empress?
