"Ordinary Electric Switch" tells the story of Lin Mo, an electrician with an ordinary background. He works as an inconspicuous electrician in a community. He deals with aging wiring and shirk-passing bosses every day. He lives in poverty and does not see much hope. His father was seriously ill and was hospitalized, which made his life even worse. He could only survive on food and clothing.
During a crisis in the power distribution room on a rainy night, Lin Mo relied on his solid skills and sense of responsibility to avoid a possible fire in time, and unexpectedly met Zhang Qiming, a senior in the power industry who had been taught by his father.
