Strategic researcher Xiao Mubai dies from overwork and becomes the frail, sickly illegitimate son of a duke. Outwardly, he wants no part in worldly affairs, but in truth, every move he makes is calculated. Special forces instructor Yan Yunlie sacrifices his life saving someone and becomes the disgraced Ninth Prince. He seems reckless and hot-blooded, but is actually loyal and deeply devoted. When these two heroes meet, one stirs the court with political schemes while the other sweeps across the battlefield with iron resolve. As the Beirong cavalry rides south and undercurrents churn through the court, they choose to stand side by side: you move the pieces, and I'll break the deadlock. Together, they take on the game of a chaotic age. Watch these two dragons stir up the world and usher in a golden age!
