[Police + Crime Solving + Political Career + Pinnacle of Power + Underworld Boss Lady + Beautiful Sister-in-Law]
Betrayed by his beautiful wife, with his enemy as his direct superior, police detective Shen Ci has only just begun his revenge when he unexpectedly saves the county magistrate's father and gets caught up in a romantic entanglement with his sister-in-law. Before his vendetta can be settled, he is drawn into a shocking case in Qingyun County. From this moment on, he is no longer fighting just one man, but a vast, all-encompassing web of darkness. With no one around him left to trust, this police officer, driven to the brink, declares war on all the evil forces in Qingyun County!
The stories are interlocking, with a fierce game between the decent and the villain, and full of fierce power struggles in the officialdom. I like it very much and need to savor it slowly. It is more intelligent than pretending to be a slap in the face, and it is in line with the reality of the officialdom.
