Seeds of Hope: From the Start, I Had an Evolving Battleship

The supernova went dark, and the fleet fell into slumber.

On the brink of death, Lin Yuan, a fleet captain of the Federation, awakened the ultimate weapon sealed away for ages: the Ember.

Living metal. Self-evolution. Devouring brings rebirth; battle brings transformation.

With only himself and one ship, he ventures through the savage reaches of space, fights brutal pirates, rescues the Crystal Spirits, and faces the Abyssal Swarm.

The sea of stars is vast, and his enemies are countless, yet he is never alone.

The AI Ember lives alongside him, fighting by his side and growing with him. From a cold program, it develops an emotion called “caring.”

Until the Cleansers of the Universe pass judgment, bringing every civilization to its end.

The Ember's ultimate form requires his existence as the sacrifice.

“I can't calculate our odds of winning, Captain.”

“Why not?”

“Because I don't want to lose you.”

When the end of evolution means parting, should he choose civilization, or the one person who is his only family?
