If you succeed in learning the scriptures, all the one hundred and eight generals in Liangshan will be resurrected and return to their star positions, and the first ten in Tiangang will achieve positive results; if you fail, your soul will be scattered and you will not be reincarnated for eternity.
The core logic of Journey to the West: not to cross the demons, not to encourage good deeds, but to kill and break the situation - use the sword of Liangshan to kill the demons of the Westward Journey, and use the righteousness of Tiangang to break the situation of the Three Realms. The whole process is "Suppressing the West with Iron and Blood" rather than "compassionately seeking scriptures".
