In 2026, an expedition team composed of a geologist, a down-and-out archeology professor, a former special forces soldier, a mysterious folklorist, and a genius girl with hyperamnesia went deep into the hinterland of the "Heizhugou" at the junction of southwest China and Tibet - the "Valley of the God of Death" that is said to be unable to be located even by satellites.
Their goal is not treasure, but an encrypted diary left by a "scientific expedition team" that disappeared a hundred years ago.
