Inheriting the Family from the Start, I Subdue the Heavens with True Martial Arts

Everyone says that drawing spiritual qi into the body is the orthodox path of martial arts.

Only Shen Yan knows that this so-called orthodoxy is a ten-thousand-year-old hoax devised by cultivators from another world.

After his father dies unexpectedly, the sixteen-year-old is thrust into the role of taking over his family's crumbling estate.

With two great martial families bearing down on him and the lives and fortunes of his entire clan resting on his shoulders, Shen Yan glimpses the ancient truth that was erased from history in his darkest hour:

The world's original essence was never spiritual qi. It was primordial qi!

The Heavenly Dao has been tampered with, martial arts crippled, and humanity reduced to livestock penned by cultivators.

While the world cultivates spiritual qi, I will forge a true martial path, nurturing primordial qi within my own body and refusing to be bound by the Heavenly Dao!

While the world curries favor with the powerful, I will rise against the tide as an ordinary man, fight my way out of Luoxing City, cross Zhongzhou, battle at the Heavenly Pass, and expose the cultivators' earth-shattering conspiracy!

When spiritual qi runs amok and martial artists across the land lose their cultivation, he alone will wield the power of true martial arts to hold up the sky for all humanity!

One sword to shatter illusions, one fist to suppress the world and slay immortals!

In the end, it is humanity's true martial arts that will rule the Myriad Worlds!
