In the 2K era of Ancient Terra, veteran Warhammer fan "Blood Ravens Never Leave Empty-Handed" went out to pick up a parcel, only to be rammed into the Warhammer 40K universe by a hundred-ton king and transmigrate into the body of a Blood Ravens Scout.
The good news: He brought his entire collection of memes with him. A yellow-skinned one was holding Warp meetings in his head, and the Four Chaos Gods were all talking over one another. The bad news: The yellow-skinned one's toilet was leaking, and he needed to recover thirty-six scattered "toilet parts."
The worse news: The Tech-priests wanted the parts for research, a secretive fellow suspected he knew about "that thing," the sobbing ones were crying as they prepared to award him a commendation banner, and Trazyn the Infinite had opened a special "Blood Ravens' Wonderful Collection" display case just for him.
Raven Solas, outstanding graduate of the Blood Ravens' specialized "reclamation" training program, lives by the motto: "It's not mine, but it could be."
He filches an STC fragment right under the Tech-priests' noses, swipes an empty box from a secretive fellow's secret room, and tries to "reclaim" a Necron Warrior's head from a Necron tomb (and gets chased through three star systems). At last, he debates "the ethics of collecting" with Trazyn the Infinite: If you took it first, it's yours? Then if I took it first, it's mine.
"For knowledge and power!" he shouts, invoking his Chapter's motto as he stuffs his spoils into a hidden compartment in his Power Armour.
"Solas, what are you doing now?" Sergeant Atcheron asks for the thirty-seventh time, his soul crying out.
"Machine spirit resonance, Sergeant. The machine spirit of this ship... is very excited."
