At the end of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the imperial power fell away, the aristocratic families were divided, and the Huanxuan Rebellion swept Jiankang. Shen Ai, the legitimate queen of the Langya Wang family, was the daughter of Wang Xianzhi and Princess Xin'an. Her parents' marriage was tragic, and she was forced to marry the foolish Jin'an Emperor Sima Dezong, and became a political bargaining chip. She used the Jiaowei Qin "Maoyi" carvings left by her father and the fragmentary score of "Guangling San" as clues to uncover the old grudge between her mother and the Huan family, the Huan family that made Sima Dezong stupid, her mother framed Xi Daomao to death, and the Huan family destroyed the Xi family. She joined forces with Xie Daoyun, Liu Yu and other forces to fight against Huan Xuan, but was eventually trapped by the fate of "the day when Guangling died, and the blood prophecy appeared in the world", and her hemoptysis became increasingly severe. After the Huanxuan Rebellion was settled, Liu Yu came to power, and Wang Shen'ai and Sima Dezong were placed under house arrest and treated extremely poorly. In the eighth year of Yixi (412), Wang Shen'ai died at the Huiyin Hall of Jiankang at the age of 29. She was given the posthumous title of Queen Anxi and was buried in Xiupingling. Liu Yu was indifferent to his death and only conducted funeral ceremonies according to etiquette. Later, he had Sima Dezong hanged and succeeded the Jin Dynasty and the Song Dynasty. Wang Shenai spent her life interpreting the sadness and tenacity of the queen in the last days, and wrote a tragic elegy in troubled times.
