Dragon Struggle in Troubled Times
The prosperous Tang Dynasty collapsed and the world was in chaos. The Yellow River burst its banks, the people were displaced, and harsh government was rampant. Huang Chao gathered rebels and raised troops, marching across the north and south, heading straight for Chang'an, ushering in a century of troubled times.
The situation suddenly changed, and heroes emerged. Zhu Wen rebelled against Qi and surrendered to the Tang Dynasty, and the tigers occupied Bianliang; Li Ke used the Shatuo cavalry to shock Hedong. In the battle of Shangyuanyi, Liang and Jin forged a bloody feud, and the north and south faced off and fought endlessly. Zhu Wen usurped the Tang Dynasty and established the Liang Dynasty. Three hundred years of the Tang Dynasty came to an abrupt end, and wars broke out in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.
Li Cunxu inherited his father's death with three arrows, defeated Yan and destroyed Liang, restored Tang Dynasty and proclaimed himself emperor, but favored and trusted an actor, and died for his success; Shi Jingtang ceded the sixteen states of Yanyun, willingly served the Khitan, lured the wolf into the house, and opened the door to the Central Plains. In troubled times, kings killed their ministers, vassal towns gathered troops, and states and counties attacked each other. Thousands of miles of Central Plains were starved to death, and the people struggled to survive in the war.
Internal strife arose repeatedly in the Later Tang Dynasty, and the Later Jin Dynasty was destroyed by Khitan. Guo Wei established the Zhou Dynasty to rest and recuperate, Chai Rong worked hard to equalize land and reduce taxes, he made an expedition to the west to Shu, three expeditions to the Southern Tang Dynasty, and a northern expedition to Khitan to recover the three passes. The bow and sword did not rest, and the arrow clusters were still covered with frost in Youzhou, but he died before his ambition was fulfilled. The southern states: Wu was strong and prosperous, Wu and Yue were engaged in trade, Min and Chu were peaceful, Southern Tang was elegant, and Later Shu was prosperous. They eventually fluctuated between separatism and surrender.
Chenqiao mutiny, yellow robes were added, Zhao Kuangyin replaced the Zhou Dynasty and the Song Dynasty, released his military power with a glass of wine, commanded the north and south, leveled Jinghu Lake, destroyed Hou Shu, settled the Southern Han Dynasty, besieged Jinling, Li Yu surrendered, Wu Yue accepted the land, the ten kingdoms returned to the clan, and the scattered people finally saw the smoke from the cooking pots again.
