Master Xu, Something Seems Off Here

Soft-hearted beauty and Feng Shui master Xu An ✕ handsome, looks-obsessed, unhinged young master and jealous acting ace Fu Yanlin

[Alternate universe + mutually unhinged leads + fate + mild supernatural elements + plot-driven]

Xu An never imagined that, while enduring a trial at the age of twenty-five, she would meet an unhinged man with incredible acting skills: Fu Yanlin, the pampered young master of the Fu family.

Fu Yanlin suffers from a “strange illness” that no treatment can cure, but it settles down whenever he consumes Xu An’s blood. As they spend time together, he discovers that blood isn’t the only thing that can calm it... This unprecedented possessiveness makes him realize that Xu An has to be his. He will stop at nothing to keep her.

It takes Xu An a while to realize that Fu Yanlin is a master of putting on an act, especially around people he’s interested in. He makes you feel as if his world revolves around you, but the moment you slip out of his control, he’ll coil around you like a venomous snake, his eyes holding you fast until you submit completely.

But Fu Yanlin doesn’t know that his “illness” has put a “leash” around his own neck, too. Xu An is the one holding it tight.

[There’s a real plot, with foreshadowing. No character appears out of nowhere. If you don’t like plot-driven stories, this one may not be for you!]

[Friendly reminder: This is an alternate universe, though real-world terms may occasionally appear. Suggestions are welcome, but please don’t nitpick (∗•ω•∗)]
