Su Jinping, the top fox spirit of Qingqiu, has practiced cultivation for a thousand years. Her magic is terrible, but her bewitching arts are second to none.
Her greatest dream in life: lie flat, slack off, and be treated like royalty.
Her clan leader kicks her down to the mortal realm to undergo tribulation. “Repay your debt of gratitude! Don’t come back until you’ve treated your benefactor like royalty!”
Su Jinping looks at the blood-soaked man before her and has a sudden inspiration.
“Repay my debt? If I turn my benefactor into my devoted admirer and have him wait on me every day, doesn’t that count as treating him like royalty in a roundabout way? Perfectly logical!”
Shen Yanzhi, a powerful court official, is ruthless and merciless, earning him the nickname “Shen the King of Hell.”
A genius at twisted logic: anyone who goes out of their way to please him must have ulterior motives; any woman who smiles at him wants to harm him.
But ever since he met a woman named Su Jinping, he discovered that his logic had gone completely haywire.
When she kept him at arm’s length, he tossed and turned all night.
When she was in danger or being bullied, he stepped in front of her.
When her fox tail showed, he said, “Then I’m not afraid.”
Later, the entire capital knew that Shen the King of Hell had fallen.
He’d fallen into the hands of a fox spirit who ran a cosmetics shop.
The Empress Dowager asked, “You’re a demon, and he’s human. What makes you think you have a chance?”
Su Jinping smiled. “Because he likes me, and I like him. I’m a fox spirit. Who am I supposed to fear?”
This is the story of a fox spirit who uses bewitching arts to start a debt-repayment mission, only to get caught in her own scheme.
This is the story of a cold-faced King of Hell who gets manipulated, helps count the money, and eventually wakes up to become the perfect man.
Sweet, satisfying, and addictive, with thrills from start to finish.
