In a bizarre car accident on a rainy night, Xiaoyue, a foreign woman, died tragically on the side of the highway. The police hastily concluded the case as a hit-and-run. Only the mechanic Ah Kuan didn't believe it. He was well aware of Xiaoyue's struggle and despair during her lifetime, so he secretly investigated and pinned the suspicion on Xiaoyue's lover Jiang Cheng and his live-in girlfriend Su Jin. While tracking, A Kuan accidentally discovered an abandoned shack and found a death video taken by old man Lao Li, who was a scavenger. Xiaoyue did not fall to death, but was pushed down the hillside by Su Jin, kicked off her survival hand, and was crushed by a wealthy second generation car.
Jiang Cheng killed Lao Li to silence him and buried his body in a barren mountain. He was driven to collapse by hallucinations and fear day and night. Ah Kuan set up a trap to force him to reveal himself, and sent all the murderers to justice. Su Jin, Jiang Cheng, and the rich second generation were all sentenced. However, the case was solved, but Interpol Gao Yuan had doubts: Why did the key evidence fall into A Kuan's hands accurately?
Jiang Cheng's ex-wife Lin Shan has always stayed out of the matter. Her testimony is perfect and flawless, but in fact she is the organizer who watches with a cold eye. She witnessed the whole process, secretly handed over the address, used others to complete her revenge, and finally flew away with her daughter, hiding all the secrets above the clouds. The French Open is clear, but the quietest person in the game has been missed. The truth is far from over.
