The Great Jing Dynasty is in chaos. Years of disaster and famine have sent bands of marauders roaming everywhere, and the land is strewn with bones.
Lin Yan, a university history student, wakes up as a starving young refugee.
He has no money, no soldiers or weapons, only a dilapidated house, an orphan girl, and an old craftsman.
While others plunder and slaughter amid the chaos, he keeps his head down and clears land for farming.
While others fight for fleeting glory, he builds walls, trains troops, stockpiles grain, and digs canals.
He takes in refugees and forms local militias, making Qingliang Mountain his stronghold and the wilderness his domain.
From a broken house to a fortified stronghold;
From a band of starving refugees to an iron army;
From a small stockade to a force sweeping across the realm.
He will bring peace through infrastructure, not plunder and slaughter;
He will win hearts with food, relying on no one and currying favor with no one.
The world is boiling with chaos. Watch as I rise from one house, claim the wilderness as my kingdom, found a nation on farming, and build a peaceful golden age anew!
Needless to say, it looks good, it's quite heartwarming, and it's logical and all. Although there are some repetitive content, it's innocuous. I'll support it with a five-star review. I just hope that the author won't give in, so come on!!! Slowly approaching the main plot, the difficulty of writing gradually increases. Come on, author!!!
The plot setting and writing techniques still need to be optimized. The author will write better next time he releases a new book.
Was the salt white at that time? If you don't even have a knife, do you have a hoe?
Very nice looking
