During the Zhengde period, the Ming Dynasty was peaceful on the surface, but undercurrents were turbulent. Zhu Chenhao, the king of Ning in Jiangxi, secretly recruited troops and colluded with courtiers, and his intention to rebel was obvious. The young emperor Zhu Houzhao was well aware that the forces on the bright side were intertwined, so he secretly formed a shadow force directly under the imperial power - Qianyuan Guards.
The leader, Shen Mo, was a former member of the Xuanfu border army. The seven people were codenamed after the Big Dipper and hid in the market, only obeying the emperor's orders.
The story takes the Ningwang Rebellion as the main line. The Qianyuan Guards began by investigating King Ning Jiangnan's fund-raising, and then went through the Qionglin Gambling Game, outsmarting strategists, intercepting rebel ledgers, and dealing with the overt and covert struggles of the Jinyi Guards of Dongchang. They are not troops charging on the battlefield, but invisible blades that cut off the rebels' capital chain, mislead intelligence, and disrupt logistics in the dark. When King Ning finally raised his army in the 14th year of Zhengde, Qianyuan Guards had sent the key deployment plan to Wang Yangming and sneaked into Nanchang to Yingka City.
